Simple Content Management and Comments for Any Webpage
Most writing for the Web is not done by the actual Web page designer, but by a separate writer who can explain the product, service, or issue being discussed. Often, the content manager has little or no knowledge of HTML coding, and may or may not have access to the code base for the Web site he/she is writing.
Enter Texty, the simplified content management solution. A Web designer or content manager simply has to start writing some contents for a page from within a Texty account. Once the base content has been created, Texty will provide a link to a javascript code that can be included into the Web page's HTML codes and displayed on a particular page. Whenever the Texty is updated (a simple process using a rich-text or HTML editor), the information on the Web page is automatically updated immediately.
Web teams can use this tool to allow Web designers to build the layout and code-base for a page, while allowing Web content editors access to the Texty account to change the actual contents (text/images/etc.) as often as they want to, without having to go in and change the page's coding.
This site has been reviewed on The Web for You.
Advanced Web designers can even build an entire Web site using a single page and displaying information from many different Texty's on the same page, as I described in one of my blog posts.
